Shipping policy
1. Calculation of Shipping Costs
As our offering is aimed at a professional clientele (B2B) with varying volumes and destinations, shipping costs are not calculated automatically in the shopping basket at the time of ordering on the website.
The cost of transport is determined after receipt of the order request, based on:
-
Total weight and volume of the goods.
-
Delivery destination.
-
Any commercial terms agreed with the customer (e.g. Free Carriage upon reaching a minimum order value, or Carriage Paid To).
The final shipping cost will be clearly stated in the Order Confirmation that you will receive via email from our sales department.
2. Processing and Delivery Times
SARTEX is committed to ensuring orders are processed quickly.
-
Preparation times: For goods ready for immediate dispatch, the order is generally prepared and handed over to the courier within 48–72 working hours from order confirmation.
-
Delivery times: Once the goods have been handed over to the courier, delivery within Italy takes approximately 2–4 working days, except in remote areas or in cases of force majeure.
Note: The times indicated above are estimates and are not binding. Any urgent requests must be specified when placing the order.
3. Shipping Methods
Shipments are made via contracted national couriers. Alternatively, depending on the arrangements made at the time of order confirmation, it is possible to:
-
Use your preferred courier (Carriage Paid by Recipient).
-
Arrange a direct collection from our warehouse in Merone (CO), following notification that the "Goods are Ready".
4. International Shipments
We ship throughout Europe and to destinations outside Europe. For international shipments, costs and delivery times vary significantly. Please submit your order request via the website: our export department will calculate the best quote for transport and will inform you of this in the order confirmation.
5. Receipt of Goods and Complaints
Upon delivery of the goods by the courier, the Customer is required to check that:
-
The number of packages delivered corresponds to that indicated in the consignment note.
-
The packaging is intact, undamaged, not wet or otherwise altered, including the sealing materials (adhesive tape or strapping).
Important: Any damage to the packaging or the product, or a discrepancy in the number of packages, must be immediately reported, by writing "RESERVED FOR INSPECTION" (specifying the reason for the reservation, e.g. "damaged packaging", "crushed packaging") on the courier’s delivery note. Once the courier’s document has been signed without reservation, no objection may be raised regarding the external condition of the goods delivered.
