Sartex was founded in 1956 with a clear purpose: to become a leading supplier of hand tools in the Construction and Agriculture sectors. Our strong traditions from the past are our starting point.

  • 1956

    The birth of a vision.

    Giulio Sartori founded the wholesale business in tools and hardware. Drawing on his experience in the metallurgy sector, he immediately established a rigorous selection process for goods.

    The strategic location in Lecco and the dynamic local manufacturing environment enabled Sartex to develop a strong focus on exports and to supply products selected for their quality and reliability. Our DNA was born.

  • 1974

    International focus.

    With the arrival of Gabriele Sartori, the company has strategically expanded into foreign markets and the dynamic international arena. Its focus on service enables Sartex to consolidate its position as a value-added wholesale importer.

    A constant and careful selection of suppliers, combined with regular visits to production facilities in various countries, is our guarantee of quality and reliability of our products.

  • 2017

    The new premises.

    With a view to continuously improving our service, we are opening our new logistics centre in Merone (Como). This is not merely a change of premises, but a strategic investment in organisation and equipment

    The new facility enables us to reduce average order preparation times. Agility thus becomes a key strength.

  • 2022

    We are revolutionising the purchasing process.

    We are launching the new B2B platform. This tool allows customers to view personalised price lists and real-time stock availability.

    Once logged in, you can manage the entire process: from quickly browsing the catalogue to immediately submitting order requests under current commercial terms.

  • 2026

    Logistics 4.0.

    We are implementing an advanced WMS (Warehouse Management System) that is fully integrated.

    This technological upgrade enables us to improve picking flows and achieve precise management of the warehouse stock comprising over 1,300 items. Logistical precision becomes a guarantee of efficiency.
