The Italian model shovel is the benchmark for anyone looking for a traditional, durable product. Its pointed shape, made from high-strength hardened steel, is designed to penetrate even the most compact and stony ground effectively.

The special "Tropical" finish (zinc-chromate) is a galvanic treatment that not only gives the tool its characteristic golden colour, but also provides superior protection against corrosion and wear.  The design features a sturdy central rib running along the shovel to prevent bending under load and, crucially, a pronounced shoulder. This allows the operator to transfer their full body weight onto the tool, increasing penetration force with less effort.
